Situational Leadership in the Workplace
BY URMILA SHRESTHA – Situational Leadership Training is essential for developing adaptive leaders who can navigate the complexities of team dynamics. By understanding when to direct, coach, support, or delegate, leaders can maximize their team’s potential and drive organizational success. Developed by Dr Paul Hersey and Dr Ken Blanchard, this approach recognises that there is no single best way to lead. Instead, effective leadership requires assessing the readiness and capability of team members and adjusting styles accordingly.
Thirteen of our leaders from the management team have completed this training and are highly impressed with its adaptability & effectiveness in our workplace environment.
Workplace Coaching Skill for Managers
By integrating workplace coaching skills into their management style, leaders can enhance team performance, boost morale, and create a culture of continuous improvement. Regular practice and reflection on these skills will help managers become more effective coaches. Continuous practice and a commitment to development will ensure that coaching becomes an integral part of their leadership style.
Our fourteen leaders have been well equipped with the “GROW” model of coaching for performance developed by Sir John Whitmore. The GROW model is a powerful tool for managers to enhance coaching effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their teams. By using this framework, managers can facilitate meaningful conversations that lead to actionable outcomes and personal growth.
Bar Training
Bar training is essential for aspiring bartenders to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in a fast-paced environment. A well-structured training program covers everything from drink preparation to customer service. Effective bar training not only equips bartenders with the necessary skills to mix drinks and serve customers but also inspires a sense of professionalism and passion for the craft. A well-trained bartender can enhance the overall experience for patrons, making them a vital asset to any establishment.
Our F&B hosts (handling bar and beverages) participated with great enthusiasm and were greatly creative.
