‘OhanaGRAM: Sideen Joorun

Dear Outrigger hosts,

I am pleased to announce the recent appointment of SIDEEN JOORUN to the position of Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at the OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort (FOR).

Sideen started on June 18, 2024 and reports to FOR general manager Darren Shaw. In his role, Sideen will be responsible for overseeing the operation for both the Food and Beverage Service and Culinary Departments.

He has worked in a number of stunning and prestigious locations around the world including Mauritius, Maldives, Morocco, Dubai and Australia, and has more than 19 years of industry experience, having held leadership positions with Accor Hotels & Resorts, Voyages, Northern Territory, Langham Hotels & Resorts in Melbourne, and Intercontinental Hayman Island, Queensland.

Most recently, Sideen held the Resort Operations Manager position at the prestigious Lizard Island Resort, Queensland, Australia.

Sideen will work closely with Executive Chef Warren Domah and Food & Beverage Manager Jack Johnson to continue to elevate the resorts food and beverage experience, quality of product offering and profitability.

In his spare time, Sideen enjoys traveling, street food, playing pool, and soccer in addition to spending time with his lovely wife Prama.
