Responsible Service Alcohol (RSA) Training
BY SANJALICA PILLAY — The Responsible Service of Alcohol training was on December 12 and 13 and targeted bar hosts who handle or serve alcohol to our guests.
The training aimed to equip hosts and management with the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill their responsibilities in serving alcohol responsibly and in compliance with relevant laws. The service of alcohol is not taken lightly, as it carries significant responsibilities.
Completing the RSA program enables hosts to contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment on our resort premises. Face-to-face RSA training is mandatory for licensees and staff involved in selling, offering or serving alcohol in various licensed categories. The program covers topics such as the risks associated with excessive alcohol consumption, the legal aspects of alcohol, identifying who is responsible for RSA, alcohol-related facts, enhancing the atmosphere of the premises and dealing with challenging customers.
