Please join me in congratulating Ganapati “Gana” Maheshwaran on his promotion to the position of area general manager overseeing the Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kaua’i by OUTRIGGER and Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa Kaua’i by OUTRIGGER, effective today, October 1, 2024.
Gana has been with OUTRIGGER for 25 years and served as the general manager of the Kiahuna Plantation Resort since 2016.
In his new role, he will be responsible to ensure the overall operations are effectively managed for all condominium rental programs on Kaua’i. The position requires collaboration with various Board of Directors and Association of Apartment Owners General Managers, actively promoting the properties as quality condominium resorts and representing them as caring and supportive corporate citizens in local community activities.
His OUTRIGGER journey started in 1999 as an executive housekeeper at Kiahuna Plantation and before that he held a variety of positions in hospitality services at properties including the Sheraton Kaua’i Resort, Embassy Vacation Resorts and Westin Kaua’i Resort.
In his free time, Gana enjoys cooking and mixology, gardening and beach time. He loves his three cats and visiting family in the California Bay Area when he can. And, the second generation San Franciscan is currently trying to rally that ‘ohana on a trip to Italy to meet other family members in person for the first time.
