Dear OUTRIGGER hosts,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of CRAIG A. WATERMAN as the new general manager of OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort as of September 24, 2024.
Before joining OUTRIGGER, Craig was the area general manager for Davidson Hospitality based out of Long Branch, New Jersey. He comes to us with more than two decades of hospitality experience across all aspects of resort operations, sales & marketing, renovations, openings and transitions.
Through the years, he’s served in leadership roles at renowned hospitality groups including Hyatt, Two Roads, Sage, Starwood and the Ritz-Carlton, where he started his career in housekeeping.
Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in political services from the University of California – Irvine and outside of work, he’s an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, biking, and riding the Peloton.
He has three adult kids in diverse careers; one is a chef, another is in accounting and one is in mortgage.
Craig has a deep affinity for the beach & water, a passion that seems almost destined given his name. He also enjoys traveling and has had the pleasure of working in various locations throughout his career. A true foodie, Craig loves exploring new restaurants and indulging in a wide variety of food and beverages whenever he can.
