TKL Team Joins Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation to Celebrate World Elephant Day
BY SUJITTRA RONGMUANG – On August 12, 2024, OUTRIGGER Khao Lak Resort hosts proudly joined the Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation (STEF) in the Phang-Nga Province to celebrate Asian elephants and raise awareness about the threats they face. Donations were made by the resort to support their ongoing health care and welfare.
In honor of World Elephant Day, resort hosts also helped harvest mangosteens from the STEF farm, as proceeds from the sales help support the elephants’ welfare.
