98 Degrees, the internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum, multi-award-winning, and nominated vocal group consisting of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre stayed at OUTRIGGER and performed a benefit concert at the Blaisdell on Saturday night, April 6.
All proceeds raised from the concert went towards the restoration efforts in Maui following the tragic wildfires. This includes the revitalization of historic churches in Lahaina, aiding schools and assisting restaurants and other businesses.
Nick now calls Hawai‘i his home, so this was an especially meaningful cause for him and his family.
“In addition to OUTRIGGER’s support for 98° as its official hospitality partner for the Maui Benefit Concert – OUTRIGGER has been a strong supporter of the Maui community, housing more than 1,000 residents who lost their homes and through the OUTRIGGERCares Foundation – providing grants and resources for its affected hosts on Maui,” said Lachey.
98° has sold over 15 million albums worldwide with 4 Top 5 Billboard charting radio singles, including mega-hits such as “The Hardest Thing,” “I Do, Cherish You,” “Because of You,” and the number one hit single featuring Mariah Carey called, “Thank God I Found You.”
