OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort
Focus of a New Poʻokela Class Led by Kawenaokeao
BY KAHULU DE SANTOS – Mālama (to care): Employee engagement is a crucial aspect of any successful organization, and when it comes to creating a culture of care and safety, it becomes even more vital. Hosts of the OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort are actively engaged in safety and cultural training programs that can significantly enhance workplace safety, reduce accidents, and improve overall productivity.
The Hawaiian culture—its language, values and practices are the focus of a new Poʻokela class led by Kawenaokeao, our team of cultural specialists, entitled “Mālama – to care.” With 98% of our full-time hosts having completed the Mālama training, we are off to an enlightening start to the year.
