BY NICOLE TAPSTER — As OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort’s refurbishment is complete, an Australian media FAM was arranged so they could experience the resort first-hand. In concert with Tourism Fiji, attendees expressed positive and inspired impressions. Notable highlights were the sip and paint session, Sigatoka River Safari and the coral-planting experience. The treatment at Bebe Spa, as expected, was another standout. The meals at Ivi Restaurant received high praise with spectacular breakfast and dinner reviews at Sundowner.
The media had a wonderful time getting to know the OUTRIGGER hosts as they extended their genuine Fijian hospitality. Their kindness and friendliness toward the media did not go unnoticed.

Fan Fest, Last Resort Swimwear Fashion Show and Beachcomber Originals
BY CECI HAMAO — Maui Brewing Co. hosted “Fan Fest 2023” (Score Hoops and Hops at Maui Brewing Co. – The Official Tournament Headquarters for the Allstate Maui Invitational – Allstate Maui Invitational) with live entertainment, food and drink specials, games and prizes. Guests were encouraged to participate in various games with proceeds supporting #MauiStrong relief efforts.
Hawaiian Aroma Caffe featured The Last Resort swimwear fashion show on the same day, November 18. The show was open to guests and the public and held on the pool deck featuring local swimwear brands and live entertainment by DJ Technique.
Beachcomber Originals X OUTRIGGER Friendsgiving Dinner celebrated the start of the holiday week with a special dinner hosted by Maui Brewing Co. for the Beachcomber Originals and the OUTRIGGER Team. Beachcomber originals in attendance were Garrett Marrero (CEO/founder Maui Brewing), Jonathan Rotmensch (CEO/founder Hawaiian Aroma Caffe), Sasha Lee (influencer, Aloha Street Magazine cover girl and founder of Sasha Support Hawaii), Matt Bauer (photographer, creative director, surfer and entrepreneur) and Erin Ibarra (local artist, “chalkboard queen” and muralist).
