June Host of the Month: JACOB NOHARA
Jacob has demonstrated that he is a team player by ensuring the operations at the bell desk run as smoothly as possible. He willingly helps others by staying on after his shift, so the next person is not left alone on a busy day. Jacob also continues to go above and beyond by offering assistance, not only to his co-workers, but also to our guests. He has been recognized by name on Unifocus numerous times. Some of the comments are:

BY AYAASHA ISHAAQ — We were delighted hold our All-Host Meeting on July 13. In this meeting, Host of the Month Service Provider and Host of the Month for June for both Heart of the House and Front of the House were revealed. The meeting was followed with a special tea party celebrating birthdays in July.
June Host of the Month Heart of the House: SHAJI KOONAMPADAM
The reason I thought of selecting Shaji (head tailor) as Heart of the House Host of the Month is due to his outstanding performance from the very first day until now. I would say there is nothing that Shaji is not able to do in his field; he also assures the quality of his work. I am happy to have this Gem as a host in the department.

June Host of the Month Front of the House: MOOSA RAMEEZ
As guest service assistant, Moosa has become a leading host on the team in terms of guest reviews. He does an amazing job looking after big groups and also does a fantastic job in generating additional revenue by upselling to his guests.

June Host of the Month Service Provider: MOHAMMED ANISUR RAHMAN
Anisur’s main responsibility as engineering helper is early morning beach cleaning, guest arrival villa ladder cleaning and movie screen fixing and removal. Anisur cleans and maintains 60 ladders and cleans the drain junction and takes care of all plumbing-related works in absence of a plumber.

July Host of the Month — REY ORPILLA
Rey is one of the hardest workers you will ever see! He represents himself and OUTRIGGER Reef with the highest standard while he is performing his duties. No matter what we assign him, he is always the first one to be there while still being extremely proficient. He shows up every single day with no complaints and a smile on his face. With the work ethic he has and the pride he puts into his job, you can tell he is one of the greats of OUTRIGGER.

Housekeeping was in charge of our Malama Our Host this month and chose the theme Staying Cool for the Summer. They gave our drumstick ice cream to all of our hosts and wore sunglasses and carried beach balls to correspond with their theme!
Another great month here at the Reef – we also ended the month with an overall recommend score of 93%! This is the highest recommend score for the year 2023 so far! Thank you to all of our hosts that make our guest experiences so memorable that they want to recommend our property, it is not possible without all of your hard work.
