BY MOHAMED HUSAM — MAM hosts held a Billiards Tournament from May 21-25 with 8 teams participating.
The final match was Team of Nishanth (barman) and Vishanth (guest service assistant) vs Team of Jalal (senior night auditor) and MD Ismail (kitchen helper) with Team Nishanth and Vishanth capturing the win.
Certificates and trophies were presented by chief guest Ali Rasheed, director of human resources.
Sunrise Yoga
BY MOHAMED HUSAM — As the part of our host wellness initiatives, a sunrise yoga session was held on May 16 led by Spa Supervisor Le Thi Thuy (Bobby). The early-morning session in the host gym was a great way to start the day.
Movie Night
BY MOHAMED HUSAM — Movie Night was held on May 18 on the football grounds. “The Witches’’ was enjoyed with special popcorn prepared by our host canteen chefs.
Fishing Trip
BY MOHAMED HUSAM — A fishing trip was arranged on May 26. All hosts who joined in on the fun enjoyed snacks and drinks while waiting for the fish to bite. The fish caught were then served during a meal.

Malama Our Hosts
BY HANNAH BURKMAN — The front services team hosted Malama Our Hosts this month. In celebration of National Chocolate Chip Day on May 15, hosts were treated to Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. Although a few days late, our hosts appreciated the front services leaders spending time with them during pre-shifts and lunch breaks.

A Symbiotic Relationship…
BY CARLY CLEMENT — During the Royal Kahana Owners Meeting, Sheila Gerbig-Hussey and Kim Pua‘a were recognized by our Rental Committee who described their years of service as a “symbiotic relationship.”
Following the recognition, it was a night of reminiscing, fun, food and partnership at our Owner Reception. OUTRIGGER and non-OUTRIGGER Owners were invited to talk with OUTRIGGER leadership.
